  • In August, former Colorado Ballet principal Meelis Pakri joined the faculty of HARID Conservatory in Florida. Pakri, who is from Estonia and graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Russia, has been ballet master of Colorado Ballet and Houston Ballet and a faculty member at The Royal Ballet Upper School in London.

 

 


  • Joffrey Ballet’s
    Gerard Charles has been promoted from ballet master to director of artistic operations. In this newly created position, he will serve as a liaison between artists and designers and crew, planning and implementing all production needs. Before joining the Joffrey, Charles performed with Milwaukee Ballet and BalletMet, eventually serving as artistic director of BalletMet.
