More dance movie madness! Beginning this month, The Royal Ballet will screen six of its ballet productions in theaters across the world, as part of its Live Cinema Season. Audiences will have the chance to see live performances of classics, like Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Jerome Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun and Balanchine’s Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, as well as premieres of Liam Scarlett’s Frankenstein and Carlos Acosta’s Carmen. Every screening includes exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. Visit roh.org.uk/cinemas to find a list of participating theaters, and check back frequently, as new theaters are added often!
