A cluster of dancers surround Irene Dowd as she places one hand on a dancer's sacrum and uses the other to point at a spot on the dancer's mid back. The dancer has blue tape form a V from her lower back to just below her shoulder blades; shorter lengths of red tape form an inverted V in the middle of the blue tape, with the apex on the dancer's spine.

A photo shows a collage of three images. The larger image on the right shows Hilary Cartwright, dressed in a loose-fitting black shirt and yoga pants, at the front of a dance class, standing in first position and performing a cambé back. Two students stand in front of her, doing the same exercise. The smaller photo on the bottom left shows Cartwright standing in front of a male dancer in a Gyrotonic studio as he does an exercise with a pulley looped around his knees. The last photo on the top right shows Cartwright from the chest up, sitting at an outdoor café and smiling for the camera. She wears a green turtleneck with a blue V-neck shirt over it.
