#WhyNotWednesday: Catch ABT from Your Own Living Room
October 14, 2015

OK, so I know it might feel like we’re always telling you to go watch television or head to the movies to see some dance, but this time you really don’t want to miss it. Next Monday, American Ballet Theatre principal Misty Copeland will perform as part of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” The show’s being taped at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (Brooklyn is Kimmel’s hometown), and Copeland (2015 = “The Year of Misty,” remember?) will be joined by 15 other ABT dancers for this special performance. Plus, Ethan Stiefel is choreographing the piece they’re performing! Total win-win-win. TV, ballet, Cooper Nielson from Center Stage.

Catch it all at 11:35/10:35 pm EST/CST time on ABC. And if watching this TV ballet bonanza has you itching to see more, ABT opens its fall season at Lincoln Center in New York on October 21.
