Auditions began today for a new youth company: the Boston Urban Ballet.  Founded by the  Tony Williams Dance Center in Jamaica Plains, the company will offer a taste of the professional dance experience to dancers ages 8–21. Dancers will be required to maintain a “B” average in school, while attending classes, rehearsals and performances—including Williams’ renowned Urban Nutcracker as BUB members. 

Auditions are being held at the Tony Williams Dance Center July 20 and 27 and Sept 2.
