In this live hour-long Zoom discussion, Dance Teacher’s editorial director, Reanne Rodrigues, will be joined by TRIBE 99 founder and CEO Carsen Rowe, and J’aime Griffith, a professor at Grambling State University and the director of the school’s dance line, the Orchesis Dance Company. Attendees will also be able to ask questions in real time.         

About the Speakers

Carsen Rowe

Carsen Rowe is the pioneering founder and CEO of TRIBE 99 Choreography. A two-time UDA D1A Hip Hop Champion and four-time gold medalist with Team USA at the ICU Championships, she has since choreographed 10 UDA College National Championship routines in the last seven years and currently works with top universities, including Ohio State and Louisiana State. Rowe’s diverse professional credits also range from Ciara’s “Dose” music video to choreographing sections of Ne-Yo’s world tour. She has also been featured on ESPN, “Access Hollywood,” and more.

J’aime Anastasia Griffith 

J’aime Anastasia Griffith is a dance artist who enjoys contributing to the dance community as a dance educator, performer, choreographer, and costume designer. She is currently an assistant professor of dance at Grambling State University, where she is also artistic director of the Orchesis Dance Company.
