Save the dates for NYC Dance Week!
May 28, 2013

If you were sad to see National Dance Week end, you’re not alone! But don’t despair. The Big Apple’s second annual NYC Dance Week is right around the corner.

June 20–29, studios throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens will offer free and discounted classes in styles ranging from ballet to Bollywood, contemporary to Capoeira. It’s a great opportunity to introduce a friend to dance or try a new type of cross training. There are over 100 dance and fitness classes available so far at 37 studios including the Ailey Extension, Mark Morris Dance Center and the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory. The Harkness Center for Dance will even host a special injury prevention workshop.

The festival kicks off early—June 11—with a salsa and swing dance party that sounds too good to pass up! Full Dance Week details at http://nycdanceweek.org/
