  Kansas City Ballet has a new school director. Grace Holmes, a former dance professor at University of Texas at Austin, now leads the Kansas City Youth Ballet (KCB’s teen performance ensemble), the studio division, summer programs and KCB’s new trainee program, which introduces recent graduates to company life. Kansas City Ballet was founded in 1957, and Devon Carney is artistic director.

  ACDA class at the 2014 Mid-Atlantic Conference

  Attention college dance teachers and dancers: The American College Dance Association (formerly the American College Dance Festival Association) has announced its 2015 regional conference schedule. For dates and locations, visit acda.dance. Registration opened on October 15 for all ACDA members.
