It’s time to get your flash mob on!
National Dance Week (April 22–May 1) is swiftly approaching! One of the best parts of this annual event is the dance mob—this year, the National Dance Week Foundation set basic choreography to the Meghan Trainor song, “Better When I’m Dancing.” It’s all about creating awareness for dance in your community. And a dance mob is a surefire way to get some attention. All you need to do is learn the choreography from the video below.
NDW invites you to submit a video of your school or studio performing the dance mob routine. (You can create your own choreography, too, of course.) From May 9–20, you’ll be able to vote on your favorite routine, and winners will be announced the week of May 25. (There’s a preschool dance mob version, too.)
Be sure to check out NDWF’s website to see other dance week-related events taking place in your area.
