Have we got a TGIF treat for you today. Yesterday was the 10-year anniversary of Step Up, that charmingly ridiculous dance-spectacle-parading-as-a-movie that propelled Channing Tatum to fame (and introduced him to his future wife, Jenna Dewan, a classically trained dancer). Now, maybe you’re more of a Save the Last Dance fan, like me, and the details of Step Up are a bit fuzzy, but it’s definitely a formula you’re familiar with. Bad boy meets good dance girl and gets a shot at redemption, culminating in a high-stakes dance performance, blah blah blah.
ANYHOW, Dewan-Tatum and Tatum posted an Instagram video of themselves reenacting the big lift at the end of the dance performance. Looks like they’ve still got it:

For your reference (and, let’s be honest, your guilty early-aughts dance film pleasure), here’s the original. The big lift happens around 1:53. (So. Many. Fan. Kicks.)
