‘Tis the season to be thankful, right? Next Tuesday, December 1, the National Dance Organization kicks off “Thank a Dance Teacher Day.” It’s a social-media giving campaign that actually lasts the entire month of December—post a video or selfie (NDEO is calling it an “unselfie”) thanking your teacher and donate $10 toward every teacher you thank. Use the hashtag #ndeothanks. Your name and the name of your teacher will be added to a special NDEO donor registry page. See here for more details. Funds raised go toward NDEO’s professional development scholarships.
