Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, of the United Kingdom, has named Wayne McGregor professor of choreography. McGregor, who founded his company Wayne McGregor | Random Dance in 1992, originally joined the school’s staff in 2013 as part of a partnership between his company and the conservatory for the purpose of developing new work.

Rochelle Zide-Booth will receive the CORPS de Ballet International’s 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award. The former Joffrey Ballet principal and artistic director of the New Zealand School of Dance will be honored during the organization’s 16th annual conference, held this year in Pittsburgh, June 17–20. CORPS was created to provide ballet teachers in higher education with a supportive community.
