Here's a Great Idea
November 29, 2001

At the end of every free performance of the Downtown Dance Festival in Manhattan, the performers teach a combination from one of the works. Anyone who wants to participate can get up on stage and try it out. Festival organizers say that “Everybody Dance Now” is especially popular with kids. What if you tried that at your next recital or public showing? Seems like it would be a great way to introduce new folks to your studio.

If you’re in New York, check out the Downtown Dance Festival August 17-23, produced by Jonathan Hollander, director of Battery Dance Company.
