A Gallery of Tutus on Google
October 31, 2012
The National Ballet of Canada has partnered with Google Art Project. On the interactive site, viewers can browse high-resolution images on a virtual tour of some of the world’s top museums, from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC to London’s National Gallery.
Now they can peruse a gallery of tutus, as well, many once worn by Canada’s leading ballerinas, including current NBC artistic director Karen Kain. The tutus are featured as visual art because of their intricate designs and craftsmanship. Check out the tutu collection here.
