We at DanceMedia are extra excited for the upcoming New York City Dance Alliance benefit performance April 22 at NYC’s Joyce Theater. The program, called “Destiny Rising,” will feature performances by New York City Ballet dancers, American Ballet Theatre Studio Company, everyone’s favorite Bad Boys of Dance, members of Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet and more. There will also be a post-performance talk-back with dancers. Ticket sales contribute to the NYCDA Foundation College Scholarship Program, which awards tuition money to students pursuing degrees in dance or musical theater.
