Since the 1930s, Newsweek has helped bring big names in dance—from Baryshnikov and Gelsey Kirkland to Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse and Broadway’s legendary Donna McKechnie—into the mainstream media spotlight. At the end of this year, Newsweek will publish its last print edition and convert to an all-digital format. Talk about the end of an era.
