American Ballet Theatre’s Misty Copeland will pen a memoir and a picture book, both scheduled for release in 2014. In her memoir she’ll discuss the struggles of her young career and the road to becoming ABT’s first African American female soloist.
We’re eager to hear what she has in store for young readers, as well. Congratulations, Misty!
