17 students from across the United States have just been awarded $2,500 in scholarships by Monsters on the Move, a non-profit organization created to help underprivileged dancers pursue an education in dance.
The scholarship money will go toward paying for classes at an accredited dance institution, with the stipulation that the recipient “pay it forward,” by giving back to his or her community, school or church. See the full list of 2012’s winners here.
