Costume Gallery has announced the winners of the 2012 Beverly Miller Scholarships!
Each of the 26 winners will receive $500 towards her dance education, with Briarwood Ballet student Brianna Russell from Alabama accepting the $1,000 grand prize. In her application essay, Brianna described her love of teaching younger students. She hopes to “change the world,” she says, “one pirouette at a time.”
Scholarship recipients can use funds to attend dance intensives or summer programs and to pay for extra classes.
