Jack Cole, known for bringing jazz as we know it to the Broadway stage, was an influence to major choreographers like Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins and Gower Champion. Today, Chet Walker teaches Cole technique classes as the director of the jazz and musical theatre programs at The School at Jacob’s Pillow and at Steps on Broadway in New York City.
