Lil Buck appears on the November cover of WSJ. magazine, their innovators issue. Makes sense, given the way the dance world has gone gaga for his graceful jookin’. In his interview, while dancing in New York City’s Bowery Hotel, he explains what makes him so entrancing: “I jump inside of the music,” he says. “I mess with the tempo. You know how with an equalizer, you can see the music go up and down? That’s what I do. Being a vessel for sound.
