News: Angelina Ballerina’s Latest Adventure

By rzar

Your students’ favorite dancing mouse is back, and she’s starring in her first-ever movie!

Based on England’s Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps TV show, which came to PBS in 2009, Angelina Ballerina: The Shining Star Trophy—The Movie was released in August. It features the 8-year-old mouseling’s quest to harness all of her creativity and determination to come up with the perfect act for Camembert Academy’s big talent show. Angelina’s cute British accent and easily imitated dance moves are perfect for occupying your tiniest ballerinas while waiting for older siblings to finish class or during studio birthday parties.

The film, by Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment, is available on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand. Angelina’s 2011 comeback also features four new CGI Angelina Ballerina books from Penguin Young Readers, mobile apps for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch and a plethora of new apparel, games and toys.
